Karthikk Munirathinam is responsible for digitalisation for Schaeffler Americas, where he leads initiatives that accelerate innovation, growth, and sustainability across manufacturing plants, business divisions, and corporate functions. With more than 25 years of experience in IT and digitalisation, he has successfully driven large-scale digital initiatives including digital factories, advanced data platforms, and enterprise IT services. His current focus areas include developing technology foundation for humanoid robotics in manufacturing environments, advanced battery development, and bringing AI into action to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. At Schaeffler, Karthikk has a pivotal role in shaping the company’s transformation journey, enabling the adoption of smart factory solutions and sustainable manufacturing practices that strengthen Schaeffler’s position as a global leader in motion technology. Beyond technology, he is a strong advocate for developing future leaders, actively mentoring students and young professionals to empower the next generation of talent.
