Jaime Moore

Jaime Moore is a Senior Principal Engineer (SPE) at the Toyota Motor North America Research and Development Center (TMNA R&D) based in York Township, MI. Her current role is in the Intellection Property Solutions team supporting Business Development, where she leads projects bringing new technology forward as part of Toyota's transformation to a mobility company. Her current focuses are studying the application of innovative vibration dampening technologies and “smart materials” developed by scientists at the Toyota Research Institute of North America (TRINA).

In addition, Jaime is the Interior Design Department technical expert supporting vehicle development for vehicle interiors, including the design and development of innovative parts onto the 2024 Tacoma, and the creation and standardization of design processes to support Toyota teams. Her passions are coaching and problem solving, and she has gravitated into a role where she coaches TBP (Toyota Business Practice), the Toyota method of problem solving, and teaches design fundamentals to engineering teams.

Throughout her 20 years at Toyota, she has designed and launched vehicle components and assemblies in partnership with manufacturing facilities, supplier partners, styling and evaluation teams. Jaime earned both a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, holds 14 patents and is married with 3 boys.
